About
Established in 2021, the Center for Prevention of Hate and Bullying (CPHB) aims to dismantle systemic hate in California by proactively examining and addressing the root causes of hate through a collaborative and intersectional lens. The CPHB was initiated by the Council on American- Islamic Relations, California (CAIR-CA), a nonprofit civil rights grass-roots organization, and builds upon CAIR-CA’s decades of experience in civil rights advocacy, policy work, and addressing incidents of hate and bullying through its legal, programmatic, and communications work. The CPHB expands on these past efforts and resources while taking a new, comprehensive approach to tackling hate.

Role
As the Associate Marketing and Media Manager for the Center, I lead and execute the organization’s entire marketing, communications, and digital strategy — serving as the sole marketing department for a statewide initiative. I oversee all content and campaigns across social media, website, email, and print, developing cohesive, multi-channel strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and community action.
I have led the launch and ongoing growth of CPHB’s digital presence, including its Instagram and website, while ensuring consistent branding, accessibility, and user experience across all platforms. My work spans content creation, campaign development, website design and management, SEO strategy, and performance analytics to continuously refine and scale impact.
Beyond digital execution, I coordinate media relations, partnerships, and outreach efforts with community organizations, funders, and stakeholders, positioning CPHB as a leading voice in addressing hate and bullying in schools. Through strategic storytelling and data-driven campaigns, I translate complex issues into accessible messaging that resonates with diverse audiences and drives meaningful engagement.
